Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Manager

Working Pattern: Full-time onsite

Working Location: Bristol

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to take the reins of a high-impact manufacturing environment in Bristol. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and empower Production Leaders, driving excellence in safety, quality, cost, and delivery while shaping a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

As Manufacturing Operations Manager , you will shape the future of Civil Aerospace manufacturing, driving operational performance while empowering your leadership teams to reach their full potential. You will have access to structured development programmes, digital manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement opportunities, allowing you to make a real impact on both people and processes.

What you will do:

Lead, mentor, and coach Production Leaders, creating a culture of high performance, accountability, and collaboration.
Drive a Zero Harm culture, ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and wellbeing.
Champion product integrity, regulatory compliance, and a commitment to Zero Defects.
Oversee people budgets and cell cost centres, delivering operational efficiency and cost improvements.
Foster continuous improvement and Lean practices across the plant, inspiring innovation and engagement.

Who we’re looking for:

Experienced in cross-functional leadership across diverse manufacturing or engineering environments.
Proven record of delivering operational excellence in complex, high-pressure conditions.
Strong expertise in Lean or Six Sigma practices and continuous improvement.
Deep understanding of product quality systems and regulatory standards.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with leadership development experience.
